Biz Cafe
Marketing Manager
Biz Cafe was a simulation in my basic BUAD class, where I was place in a team with multiple other classmates with different roles, to operate a cafe in an efficient and profitable manner. I was the marketing manager, and I was in charge of cup designs, how we will reach out to our consumers, and poster designs. We had an issue with when or if we should offer coupons to our cafe. I came up with the idea of a punch card. This would be most effective and would offer returning customers a 25% discount once they received 10 punches. This went over well and increased our sales by 20%.
Quality Alignment Initiative
Supply Chain Intern
I have an internship at Childrens Wisconsin Hospital, and I was given the opportunity to work with a specific supplier. In this partnership, we faced an issue of our standards not being met. I took the initiative to track complaints, set up meetings, realigned what we wanted out of this partnership, and enforced our new policies. After this, we saw our needs being met and we haven't had an issue since.
